Ventura Freeway to Close for Road Improvements

An overnight closure of the Ventura Freeway in Thousand Oaks is scheduled to begin tonight, the California Department of Transportation said.
All southbound lanes of the freeway will be closed for road improvements at the Moorpark Road offramp at 11 p.m. and will reopen at 9 a.m. Sunday.
Traffic will be diverted onto surface streets. Signs will be posted to direct motorists through the detour, a Caltrans spokeswoman said.
