Patrol the 710

Regarding the fatal accident on the 710 on Jan. 17: I use the 710 Freeway for my commute to work every day. There is not one single day that I don’t see at least one semi truck traveling at 70 miles per hour, cutting in front of others (including other trucks) or not allowing other drivers to merge in from the onramps. And yet very rarely do I see a highway patrol car in the whole stretch from Long Beach to Alhambra. Since the CHP seems unable to slow down these trucks, perhaps we should have a private company handling the job.
