TV Show Leads to Murder Suspect’s Arrest

Los Angeles police arrested an alleged killer Thursday after an anonymous caller recognized the suspect from an episode of television’s “America’s Most Wanted.”
Police took Alikish Moore, 25, into custody shortly after a 6 p.m. call reporting that he was in the area of 9th and San Pedro streets downtown.
Moore is accused of shooting Dawanna Denise Estes, 38, on May 19 after the mother of five intervened in a dispute between Moore and his girlfriend.
Police say three of Estes’ children witnessed the killing.
