Cost of Funds Index Climbs in May

The cost of funds index for savings institutions in the Federal Home Loan Bank’s 11th District rose to 2.772% in May from 2.723% in April, raising monthly payments on adjustable-rate mortgages in California, Arizona and Nevada through May.
