Update -- In its second season of Division I competition, Riverside is not eligible for postseason play and is redshirting its best player, junior forward Vili Morton, and possibly two others in hopes of making a tournament run next season. This will be the first meeting between the Trojans and Highlanders, who gave UCLA a scare last December, playing to a 28-28 halftime tie before falling, 65-50. Suspended USC forward Jerry Dupree and Riverside guard Mark Peters, both juniors, were teammates at Moreno Valley Valley View High.
