Re “Right in Their Face: College Republicans Rally in Berkeley,” April 27: If young Republican college students really were carrying “placards reading ‘Give War a Chance,’ ” I would suggest they follow these steps: Put down their books. Hang up their ties. Park their BMWs and their Mercedes-Benzes (made by automakers in Germany, a country as opposed to the war as France). Join the Marines and see what war is like.
Come back (of course, not in a body bag) and then tell the rest of us to give war a chance. Jeez.

I enjoyed the article very much. It is time for college students who are not poisoned by left-wing propaganda to express their political views.
The only activists on the political stage are liberals/Democrats who call for tolerance but cannot stand any idea or expression that is somehow different from theirs.
It is time to have real diversity on our campuses, diversity of ideas versus diversity of ethnic food.
