WASHINGTON — Tim Henman weathered a lengthy rain delay and defeated fourth-seeded Fernando Gonzalez, 6-3, 6-4, Sunday in the Legg Mason Classic. It was his first championship since he had shoulder surgery in November.
The 10th-seeded Henman overcame a nearly 1 1/2-hour delay to claim the 10th title of his career. The last was in January 2002, at Adelaide, Australia.
