Autopsy Conducted on Boy Left in Locked Car

The Orange County coroner’s office conducted an autopsy Saturday on a 10-month-old boy left unattended in a locked car in 80-degree heat. A cause of death was not disclosed.
A passerby found Michael K. Warschauer in a UC Irvine parking lot about noon Friday, more than three hours after his father, Associate Professor Mark J. Warschauer, drove to the campus and visited the Department of Education.
Paramedics pronounced the infant dead at the scene. No arrests were made Saturday, police said.
