Two FBI agents testified in a closed hearing on Friday before a federal grand jury investigating corruption charges against three San Diego City Council members.
Jurors heard testimony for about 3 1/2hours from the agents, who answered questions about their part in a two-year probe involving Councilmen Ralph Inzunza, Charles Lewis and Michael Zucchet.
The investigation focuses on charges that the officials were bribed by a strip club owner in an attempt to change city laws regarding strip clubs, the San Diego Union Tribune reported.
