Three cheers for the ukulele revival! (Calendar, Aug. 21). But why does Susan Carpenter need to slam the late Tiny Tim?
Here was a man who lived for the joy of introducing people to the great songs of the early 20th century (he knew thousands by heart), and to the ukulele.
Eccentric he was, but his passion for this music was no joke, and millions loved him just as he was.
