Martin Havlat scored twice to help the host Ottawa Senators end Philadelphia’s 12-game unbeaten streak with a 4-1 victory Monday night.
Philadelphia, 10-0-2 in November, remained a point ahead of Vancouver in the overall standings.
Havlat opened the scoring early in the second period, the first time the Senators have scored the first goal in a game since Nov. 3, and made it 2-0 late in the period with a power-play goal.
The Flyers, who have lost only three times in regulation, had not been defeated since a 3-2 loss at New Jersey on Oct. 30.
Pittsburgh 4, Atlanta 3 -- Ramzi Abid scored on a two-on-one break with 3 minutes 43 seconds remaining, and the Penguins rallied in front of their smallest home crowd in nearly eight years.
The turnout of 9,576 was the Penguins’ lowest since 7,170 braved a snowstorm Dec. 19, 1995, to watch them play Calgary.
Rookie Marc-Andre Fleury ended a six-game skid dating to Nov. 1, stopping 24 of 27 shots and holding Atlanta scoreless for the final 33 minutes.
Ilya Kovalchuk scored his NHL-leading 18th goal for Atlanta.
