Ford to Boost Use of Chinese-Made Parts

Underscoring China’s huge promise as a hub for global auto production, the head of Ford Motor Co. said the automaker expected to use about $1 billion in Chinese-made parts next year and might one day export finished cars from the country.
Chairman Bill Ford Jr. said almost all of its parts sourcing there probably would be for vehicles it makes in its Chinese joint venture.
