Pavarotti to marry companion today

Opera star Luciano Pavarotti planned to marry longtime partner Nicoletta Mantovani in the tenor’s hometown of Modena, Italy, today before celebrities including Bono and fashion designer Donatella Versace.
Pavarotti, 68, and Mantovani, 34, have been living together since 1996 and had a daughter together last January. He has three children from a previous marriage to Adua Veroni.
Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli and a gospel choir were to perform at the ceremony.
