Re “Revered Relic Enshrined in L.A.,” Dec. 10: So, a piece of the cloak of St. Juan Diego, on which there is an image of the Blessed Virgin of Guadalupe, is now in the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels. Great! Those who doubt the authenticity of the image might think of this: Would it have been possible -- at that time in history and in Mexico -- for there to have been such an accomplished artist who could have done the work?
