All in the Neighborhood

Thank you for “Powerful Place Called Home” (editorial, Dec. 28). Other L.A. neighborhoods have contributed to the diversity of what I call “the greatest international city in the world” when people ask me where I’m from. I enjoy geographical designations like Boyle Heights, Hollywood, Eagle Rock, etc. I object strenuously to the “no entry” signs put up when we designate neighborhoods by ethnicity. Signs like Little Tokyo and Little Armenia send a message that only certain people are welcome, and I am not.
