Thursday, at Edmonton, 6 p.m., Fox Sports Net 2 -- The Kings will open their two-game trip against the Oilers, who are ahead of them in the Western Conference standings. Edmonton rallied to defeat the Kings last week at Staples Center, 5-4. Forwards Ryan Smyth and Anson Carter lead the Oilers in goals and points.
Saturday, at Calgary, 7, p.m., Fox Sports Net -- This will be the first of four meetings between the teams this season. The Flames won last season’s series, 3-0-1, and have not lost to the Kings since April 7, 2001. Calgary is led by high-scoring forward Jarome Iginla, who has played well since Darryl Sutter took over as coach last month.
