Board Urged to Reverse Prosecutors’ Transfers

Two former county prosecutors urged the Board of Supervisors on Tuesday to reverse what they say were their politically motivated transfers.
Adam Pearlman and Mark Pachowicz told supervisors that former Dist. Atty. Michael D. Bradbury transferred them to the child support division because they had backed a rival to Greg Totten, Bradbury’s hand-picked successor, in last year’s election.
Supervisor John Flynn said he would ask Totten, now the district attorney, to review Bradbury’s action. The other supervisors made no comment.
