Three men received minor injuries when they were shot late Friday and early Saturday in two separate Oxnard incidents, authorities said.
Fausto Salas, 19, and a juvenile companion were shot about 11 p.m. near the intersection of Yucca and B streets, police said.
Two cars in a chase drove past the victims, who were crossing the intersection, and someone from one of the cars fired at them, police said.
In the second incident, a 20-year-old man was shot once in the buttocks as he stood outside his home on the 5500 block of Cypress Road about 12:15 a.m. Saturday.
The victim, whose name was not released by police, told officers that four or five men drove up in a sedan and one fired at him.
All of the men were taken to St. John’s Regional Medical Center in Oxnard where they were treated and released.
