2 Switch Offices in Airport Authority

The commission governing Burbank Airport elected familiar faces to two new offices on Monday.
Charles Lombardo, a Burbank computer equipment leasing manager who previously served as vice president, is now president of the Burbank-Glendale-Pasadena Airport Authority.
Former President Chris Holden, a Pasadena councilman and commercial real estate broker, was elected vice president of the nine-member commission. Carl Povilaitis, a Glendale Police Department sergeant, was reelected secretary. Each ran unopposed for a one-year term.
The authority, whose members are appointed by the cities of Burbank, Glendale and Pasadena, is in charge of an airport serving more than 4 million passengers annually and a budget of nearly $50 million this fiscal year.
Pasadena Councilwoman Joyce Streator remains treasurer, a position that is appointed rather than elected, according to the airport’s charter.
