Drive Aims to Change School District Name

Some Marin County residents have begun a petition drive to change the name of the Dixie School District, saying it raises images of slavery.
District Supt. Thomas Lohwasser was presented with a petition signed by 23 residents who want the name changed to the Miller Creek Elementary School District.
