“Signs, Maps to Guide Downtown Visitors” (July 7) reminded me of a poem that my mother learned when she was young to help remember the order of downtown streets.
“From Broadway we climb the Hill to Olive. We have a Grand Hope to pick Flowers on Figueroa.” Perhaps a little poetry on the directional signs would help too.
