Re “U.S. May Tap Oil for Iraqi Loans,” July 11: I am ashamed that my country would seek to rape another country of its resources in order to fund rebuilding of destruction that we brought about.
And how brazen of our oil ministers ... oops, the president and vice president, to see that Halliburton and Bechtel are in on the deal.
How much longer before the Iraqi people realize what we are doing to them and rise up in massive, bloody revolt?
This administration thinks it can do anything it wants to do and the American people are too stupid to notice.
