Man Pleads Not Guilty to Trying to Kill Wife

An attorney arrested for allegedly ramming his car through the front window of his estranged wife’s home pleaded not guilty Thursday to two counts of attempted murder.
No one was hurt, but his wife and son were near the window at the time, said Deputy Dist. Atty. Lee Mitchell.
Joseph Dean Bussone, 49, was jailed in lieu of $2-million bail. Mitchell said Bussone showed up on the front step of his wife’s Pasadena home just after midnight Wednesday in violation of a restraining order.
When he could not get in, he drove through the front window, according to police, who said he then backed the car up and drove through the front of the house again.
