Man Arrested in Robbery at Wal-Mart

A local man was arrested on suspicion of robbery and assault with a deadly weapon Wednesday outside a Wal-Mart store.
Oxnard police said Areli Ruvalcaba, 23, stole items from the Rose Avenue store and then fired shots into the air as he was chased by guards outside. He was later arrested at his home.
