From Staff and Wire Reports
Two lifeguards filed a lawsuit accusing the city lifeguard service of passing over women for promotions and failing to end a culture of sexual harassment.
Erin Snow and Lisa Darling contend that they have been subjected to lurid, sexist behavior by male lifeguards, such as a suggestion that female lifeguards participate in a contest to determine who has the most attractive breasts.
The lifeguard service is operated “like a boys’ club,” said lawyer Michael Conger, who filed the suit this week.
