Protester Is Ruled Competent to Stand Trial

The man whose tractor-sitting protest on the Mall brought traffic to a crawl was found competent to stand trial.
Dwight Ware Watson, 50, who was protesting against tobacco policies he contends ruined him financially, was ordered to appear Tuesday for a hearing. He is being held without bond.
