I’m really glad that you so prominently printed that excellent letter regarding that sexist piece of writing about Annie Lennox (Letters, May 4). It’s precisely what I thought when I read the description of her -- no doubt -- lovely and well-earned “wrinkles.” I guess it is still a crime to be female, over 45, ravishingly beautiful as Lennox is and neither lying about it nor desperately seeking plastic surgery.
We should all be so lucky if we look as gorgeous, translucent and truly sexy as Annie Lennox when we near 50, not to mention to sing like a nightingale ... and with crow’s-feet no less!
