No. 20 Boise State Wins at Fresno State, 31-17

Ryan Dinwiddie passed for 273 yards and two touchdowns Friday night as No. 20 Boise State won its eighth in a row with a 31-17 victory over Fresno State at Fresno.
The Broncos (10-1, 6-0 Western Athletic) clinched at least a share of their second consecutive WAC title with their 16th consecutive conference victory. Boise State is 20-2 in conference play since joining the WAC before the 2001 season. Fresno State (7-5, 5-2) had its four-game winning streak ended.

Oklahoma co-defensive Mike Stoops remains at the top of the list to become Arizona’s coach. The Daily Oklahoman reported that Stoops, 41, will have a second interview Sunday in Southern California with Arizona officials, who hope to name a replacement for the fired John Mackovic by Dec. 1.... Missouri Coach Gary Pinkel, 51, agreed to a contract extension through 2008.... Washington State will be without No. 2 running back Jermaine Green today against Washington after his suspension for violating unspecified team rules. Cougar quarterback Matt Kegel, who has been battling a sore throwing shoulder, is expected to start.... Alabama tailback Ray Hudson will play today against Auburn despite his recent arrest on a misdemeanor marijuana charge.
