A Rai Leh experience

I read “Inspired to New Heights in Rai Leh” [Nov. 2], and it brought back memories.
My wife and I traveled to Thailand with friends two years ago. We stayed in Bangkok, Chiang Mai and Rai Leh.
We rode elephants, traveled on bamboo rafts, rock climbed in Rai Leh and commuted on just about every means of travel known to man. Rai Leh is among the most beautiful spots in the world. And the Thai people are among the friendliest we have met.
