Holiday closings

Thursday is Thanksgiving. Here is a list of closings:
Mail: All post offices will be closed Thursday, and no mail will be delivered.
Courts: All courts will be closed Thursday and Friday.
Schools: All Ventura County school districts will be closed Thursday and Friday.
Government: All federal, state and municipal offices, except those providing emergency services, will be closed Thursday and Friday. Ventura County offices will be closed Thursday but open Friday.
Transportation: Ventura County Transit will be closed Thursday and resume a regular schedule Friday. Metrolink will be closed Thursday and offer a limited number of trains Friday.
Trash: There will be no residential trash pickups Thursday, and service will be delayed one day the remainder of the week.
