Gunmen attacked a bus carrying Shiite Muslim worshipers in the Pakistani port city of Karachi, killing six people and wounding eight, police said.
Two or three men riding on a motorcycle opened fire with automatic weapons on the government bus carrying employees of Pakistan’s Space and Upper Atmospheric Research Commission to Friday prayers.
No group claimed responsibility for the attack, but police blame Sunni Muslim militants for most of the sectarian bloodletting in Pakistan.
