Officer Hurt in June Collision Dies of Injuries

Officer Tyler M. Pinchot, a 25-year veteran of the Buena Park Police Department, died Sunday at UCI Medical Center in Orange, where he had been hospitalized since June 13, when his motorcycle was hit from behind by a car.
Pinchot, 45, of Orange, suffered serious head and pelvic injuries.
A memorial service is planned at the Crystal Cathedral in Garden Grove. Pinchot was married and had three stepchildren. Contributions can be sent to the Tyler Pinchot Memorial Fund, in care of the Buena Park Police Assn., P.O. Box 579, Buena Park, CA 90621.
