Cablevision Trims Loss on Digital Phone Sales

Cablevision Systems Corp. said its first-quarter loss narrowed as revenue from services including digital phone and high-speed Web access rose.
The net loss at the cable company was $118.9 million, or 41 cents a share, compared with a loss of $120 million, or 42 cents, a year earlier, Bethpage, N.Y.-based Cablevision said. Sales rose 5.8% to $1.21 billion.
