From Times Wire Reports
A pig farmer alleged to be Canada’s worst serial killer was charged with 12 new counts of first-degree murder on top of the 15 he already faced.
Robert Pickton, 55, was arrested in 2002 as investigators probed the disappearances of nearly 70 women in Vancouver.
Although evidence from Pickton’s farm was still being analyzed by laboratories, both prosecutors and defense attorneys said they did not expect any additional murder counts to be filed before he goes to trial late this year or in early 2006.
