Shooting Leaves 1 Man Dead, Another Hurt

An 18-year-old man was killed Saturday night and another man was wounded in a gang-related shooting, police Cmdr. Dan McDermott said.
Officers responded to a shots-fired call in the 1000 block of West Bishop Street just after 8 p.m. and found two men who had been shot. Paramedics said one man died at the scene, and they took the second man, also 18, to a nearby hospital, where he was in critical condition, McDermott said. Police have not released the identities of the men.
