Seattle police arrested one of the stars of “Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County” on Sunday after he was accused of slugging a security guard and trespassing at a hotel.
Jason Daniel Wahler, 20, of Laguna Beach was scuffling on the floor with a man at the Seattle Marriott Waterfront early Sunday when a hotel security guard warned them to stop, police said.
Wahler yelled at the guard, shoved him, punched him in the mouth and then fled, police said. He was found passed out in the hotel’s third-floor hallway, police said, and after being awakened, bragged that he was rich while shouting threats and racial epithets at an officer.
He was booked into King County Jail and released on bail.
The Police Department has requested that he be charged with misdemeanor counts of assault and criminal trespassing.
The arrest was Wahler’s fourth in nine months. Previous alleged offenses, according to published reports, include assaulting a tow truck driver in Los Angeles, resisting arrest during an underage drinking sweep in North Carolina and possessing a controlled substance in New York City.
