Wine vs. beer, the great Bowl debate

WHAT a treat! [“Mortadella, Beaujolais ... Hike!” by Laurie Winer, Jan. 3.] Although I am a wine guy as opposed to beer, I could not have enjoyed your article more. What a great idea. If I knew where Laurie Winer’s place was, I’d go to just about any extreme to talk my way in. She’s on to something, and it goes well beyond her fun talent for writing. It was a great read, and a great shot by Annie Wells.
