Re “House panel grills Bremer on Iraq policy,” Feb. 8
Which cretin decided to send $12 billion in cash to the middle of violence, unrest, looting, assassinations and war? To hand out bundles of cash to the leaders of Iraq’s interim government without exception -- men recently returned from exile, men with international financial connections, men whose loyalty to the U.S., to democracy or even to their native land had never been tested? And which cretin didn’t insist on a shred of accountability for this money?
It had to be The Decider. Is it a crime to be that stupid? It should be if you live in the White House.
