“Wicked,” the Stephen SchwartzWinnie Holzman mega-musical remix of “The Wizard of Oz” -- based on the novel “Wicked: The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West,” by Gregory Maguire -- has been remounted specifically for Southern California. Eden Espinosa

reprise the roles each took over in the original Broadway production. Stage and television actor John Rubinstein will play the Wizard and Adam Wylie (Zach in “Picket Fences” and Jack in the recent Broadway revival of “Into the Woods”) plays Boq, the love-struck -- and unusually tall -- Munchkin. Joe Mantello is directing.
