No Idiot to eat at this restaurant
I was happy to see the very astute Irene Virbila review my newest favorite, the Village Idiot [“They Have a Bright Idea,” Feb. 8]. It’s been a long time since I’ve been excited about a new restaurant.
One of the dishes I’m completely strung out on is the obscenely delicious Brussels sprouts with bacon, as well as the braised pork shank with the garlic white beans. There is a choice of interesting beers, excellent wines and my favorite vodka.
Even though I live on the Westside of town, this place has made the trip very worthwhile. I have yet to interact with any of the employees who aren’t completely charming. All in all, the Idiot is a very welcome package deal for me and many of my friends.
