2004 Marimar Estate Don Miguel Vineyard Pinot Noir
- Share via
Green Valley is cooler than much of the rest of Sonoma’s Russian River Valley, which makes it ideal for growing Pinot Noir. And this Pinot from Marimar Torres’ Don Miguel Vineyard is a prime example of Green Valley Pinot Noir -- lush and silky with lots of deep, dark fruit and a hint of earth and forest that keeps you coming back to the glass for more.
It has the structure and heft to drink well with summer barbecues. Think butterflied leg of lamb, rosy little chops or grilled sausages. It would also be a terrific match for a chilled poached salmon.
