Linkin Park will be bamboozled before it’s roasted, but that shouldn’t take the edge off the band’s impending return to action in its Southern California home.
Translation: The mega-selling Los Angeles rock band is
getting back onto the concert stage for the first time in more than two years. Its first show
will be this weekend at New Jersey’s Bamboozle festival, and then it’s back to its home base to headline the KROQ Weenie Roast y Fiesta May 19 at Verizon Wireless Amphitheater in Irvine.
The rock radio station’s 15th annual spring concert will also feature the Killers; Korn; Interpol; Social Distortion; Queens of the Stone Age; 30 Seconds to Mars; Bad Religion; Rise Against; the Bravery; Silversun Pickups; Tim Armstrong; Peter Bjorn and John; Tiger Army; and Plain White T’s. Tickets go on sale Saturday.
