Southbound 405 to be closed at Olympic

All lanes of the southbound San Diego Freeway at Olympic Boulevard will be closed Sunday from 1 a.m. to 7 a.m.
The closure is part of the $50-million extension of the southbound carpool lane from Sunset Boulevard to the Santa Monica Freeway. The new lane is to open this summer.
Caltrans plans to open a continuous carpool lane on the southbound 405 Freeway from the San Fernando Valley to Orange County by early 2009.
