Other half of the sky

I just wanted to send a note of thanks for your coverage of the “WACK!” show [“An Abundance of Insights” by Christopher Knight, April 29]. I can’t think of a more written-about show in recent memory, or one more deserving. And your “informal survey” of the gender breakdown in today’s gallery rosters makes that point abundantly clear. It took a lot of courage to publish what has been so derided in recent years, the idea that we ought to pay attention to who is being shown and speak out when it is clearly discriminatory.
