A weekend art show raised more than $200,000 for a dozen environmental and arts groups, organizers said Monday.
The Heritage Art Exhibition at Oaks Ranch in San Juan Capistrano featured 40 artists, some of whose works depicted the 50,000-acre Ranch Land Reserve, co-organizer Joan Irvine Smith said.
Among the beneficiaries were the Capistrano Valley Conservancy, the Irvine Ranch Land Reserve, Mission San Juan Capistrano, the San Juan Capistrano Historical Society, the Donna O’Neill Land Conservancy, the Capistrano Valley Symphony, Casa Romantica, Irvine Ranch Historic Park and the Irvine Historical Society.
