Man is killed in hit-and-run incident

A man in his 30s was killed early Sunday by a hit-and-run driver, authorities said.
The incident occurred near Tulip Street and Muirlands Boulevard about 12:30 a.m. The victim died of his injuries at Mission Hospital in Mission Viejo.
Deputies declined to release the man’s name, pending notification of relatives.
