Man found shot to death on street in Santa Fe Springs

A man in his mid-20s was shot to death in a residential neighborhood in Santa Fe Springs, police said Monday.
Officers responding to a report of gunfire found the man’s body about 10:30 p.m. Sunday in the 11400 block of Maxine Street, according to Diana Salazar, a spokeswoman for the Whittier Police Department.
The man’s identity was not released.
