Victim loses finger in purse snatching

A man tore off a woman’s finger during a drive-by purse snatching, police said.
Caesare R. Pinkins, 21, was charged with multiple felony counts of robbery, aggravated battery and burglary. He was being held in Gwinnett County Jail without bond.
Surgeons were not able to reattach the woman’s finger, officials said.
