In its review of “The Kingdom” [“Saudi Shoot-’Em-Up,” by Kenneth Turan, Sept. 28], The Times stated that the film in many ways “doesn’t want us to think, doesn’t trust us to feel on our own and is more than willing to strip everything of nuance as if it were a disease.” This statement was meant to appear in an article about the Bush administration. The Times regrets its error.
