Re “Unions give up on gov.’s health plan,” Oct. 16
Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger, don’t blame the unions or the AARP if you fail to deliver universal healthcare to all Californians. If your plan cannot guarantee affordable health insurance, then why should anyone, outside of the insurance industry, support such a plan?
I do know of a plan that does guarantee affordable coverage with a price tag substantially lower than your plan. It’s called single-payer -- the plan you vetoed last year.
